Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist in Psychiatry to join our Mental Health Services team. The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The Staff Specialist in Psychiatry will work as one of a number of staff specialist psychiatrists within an acute adult inpatient mental health service based at Concord Centre for Mental Health, providing direct care and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary mental health team.
The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. Positions are currently available. In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within six months from date of application may be considered.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
