Where you'll be working
Macquarie Hospital North Ryde.
What you'll be doing
- Ensuring the maintenance of lawns, gardens and general landscaping across the campus.
- Perform work on a planned and urgent basis related to any preventative and corrective tasks.
- Complete AFM work dockets, including work feedback, inventory and general maintenance reports.
- Provide key support to the engineering team as required.
- Managing a varied and busy workload with competing demands and priorities.
- Competency trained in machinery including Commercial Ride On Mowers and Skid Steer or willing to be trained.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria
- Certificate III in Parks and Gardens or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Holds relevant NSW Driver's Licence, gardening qualifications and general knowledge of plants and species.
- Effective communication, interpersonal & computer skills and sound understanding of high standards of customer service and experience in managing and organising teams as needed.
Sound knowledge and the ability to apply safety to self, staff and visitors by adopting safe work practices and compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
