What You'll Be Doing
The Visiting Medical Officer - General Practice will provide contemporary, comprehensive and high‑quality medical services that are safe, evidence‑based and patient‑centred. The role supports the healthcare needs of the local community through a broad scope of rural generalist practice.
- You will provide inpatient, outpatient, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, telehealth and on‑call services as required.
- Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver timely and effective patient care while contributing to clinical leadership, education and service improvement initiatives.
- The successful applicant will actively participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety activities, provide supervision and support to junior clinicians and healthcare staff, and contribute to building a culture of excellence across healthcare services throughout the region.
