Central Coast Local Health District is seeking experienced administration professionals to join our Administration Officer Level 3 (A03) Talent Pool. If you are someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and takes pride in keeping things organised, we would love to hear from you.

About the Opportunity

Administration Officers Level 3 play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our wards, units and departments. Every day is different, from coordinating administrative systems and communications to supporting meetings, responding to enquiries and contributing to quality improvement. We are looking for candidates with demonstrated experience in a busy administrative environment - hospital or medical administration experience is highly regarded.

Joining the A03 Talent Pool means your application may be considered for upcoming vacancies across CCLHD. Rather than waiting for a specific vacancy to arise, this Talent Pool provides an opportunity for suitable candidates to be identified and progressed as administration opportunities become available. Opportunities may arise across a variety of teams and service areas, including:

  • Admissions
  • Allied Health
  • Clinical Support Officers (CSO)
  • Departmental Secretaries
  • Specialist Clinics
  • Hot Desk Cancer Services
  • Community Emergency Department
  • Health Information Services (HIS) - Medical Records
  • Integrated Booking Unit
  • Mental Health - Community & In-Patient Units
  • Medical Imaging
  • Medical Workforce
  • Surgical / Perioperative

Flexibility is important: A number of these roles operate outside standard business hours and may include early starts, late finishes and shifts across Monday to Sunday, including positions working within a 24/7 roster. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, so don’t wait until the closing date to apply. Suitable candidates will be invited to progress to a HireVue video interview as part of the recruitment process.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including early starts, late finishes, weekends and, where required, 24/7 rostered shifts.
  • Strong administration experience (hospital or medical highly regarded)
  • Experience in a busy, fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach and initiative, with the confidence to identify solutions and improve processes.

Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.

Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a range of benefits (depending on the role) including flexible working hours, job-sharing opportunity, an accrued day off each month, 17.5% annual leave loading, and paid parental leave.

Financial Benefits: Boost your take-home pay with salary packaging, save on car costs with novated leasing, and access relocation assistance.

Health & Wellbeing: Stay active with discounted gym memberships (Fitness Passport), free flu vaccinations, telehealth support, and confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling for you and your family. Plus, access discounted private health insurance.

Career Growth: Advance your career with free professional development courses and secondment opportunities.
