Join the Mid North Coast Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service at Coffs Harbour Health Campus as a Community Rehabilitation Health Clinician (Level 4). You’ll deliver specialist, person-centred rehabilitation and case management to adults and young people living with acquired or traumatic brain injuries, with a focus on cognitive, behavioural and psychosocial rehabilitation.
Working collaboratively with clients, families, carers, multidisciplinary teams and external service providers, you’ll develop tailored rehabilitation plans, coordinate care and support clients to achieve their goals and maximise independence. You’ll also contribute to service development, quality improvement and evidence-based clinical practice, helping shape innovative rehabilitation services across the Mid North Coast.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Speech Pathology or Psychology, as outlined in the role requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in ABI/TBI rehabilitation, clinical assessment, rehabilitation planning and case management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, advocacy and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced clinical reasoning and the ability to exercise independent professional judgement in complex situations.
- A commitment to person-centred care, evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
- Approved iCare/Lifetime Care Case Manager status, or willingness to work towards approval, with knowledge of relevant NSW compensation schemes.
