Position Information
Verona School is an intensive learning support setting with 105 students in Years 5-12. Teachers at Verona are valued for their willingness to teach across subject areas, their compassion to support our most vulnerable and their ability to engage with students, staff and our community. With two campuses, Stage 3 - Stage 6 classes, trade and hospitality facilities and so on, Verona prides itself on its strong collective efficacy, its commitment to equity and our individualised and holistic approach to education.
Verona's students come from diverse backgrounds and cultural groups. With 30% of students in Out of Home Care, 30% Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, 30% with Language Backgrounds Other than English.
The position of Teacher Special Education is open to all teachers with experience delivering mainstream education with intensive supports.
