Wild Tracks is looking for walking track builders for projects in Victoria and NSW.
The job involves physical work in remote areas in all weather conditions. We are looking for people who enjoy working in the bush, are capable of doing physical work, and are able to comprehend and implement specific instructions independent of direct supervision. Must have a positive attitude and work as part of a team for extended periods of time.
We are interested in the following attributes:
- Experience with dry stone work or mortared stonework.
- Understanding of Walking Track Construction principles.
- Excavator experience/ticket.
- Experience working in remote areas.
- Chainsaw ticket.
- HR truck license.
- Work Safely around Aircraft qualification.
Mandatory qualifications:
- First Aid certificate
- White card
- Drivers license
Preference will be given for people located within the work region however accommodation can be provided for interstate applicants.
The work will run from now through to July 2027. Ongoing employment may be available for the right candidates.
