Casual Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse
Alfa Medical & Skin Clinic is a modern, patient-focused general practice committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our community.
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable casual Registered Nurse (RN) or
Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our friendly and supportive team.
About the role
This casual position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a collaborative general practice environment.
The successful applicant will work alongside experienced General Practitioners and our administration team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within a general practice setting.
- Perform immunisations and maintain cold chain procedures.
- Assist with wound management, dressings, and minor procedures.
- Support chronic disease management and health assessments.
- Conduct ECGs, spirometry, and other clinical assessments as required.
- Assist with care plans, recalls, and preventive health activities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Best Practice software.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and accreditation standards.
- Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and reception staff.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Current CPR certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional, reliable, and patient-centred approach.
- Immunisation certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with Best Practice software.
- Knowledge of chronic disease management and health assessments.
