Responsibilities
- Perform detailed drilling analysis including offset well review, lithology interpretation, and parameter optimization.
- Select and design drill bits (PDC and/or roller cone) aligned with application requirements.
- Conduct dull grading analysis and post-run evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- Generate technical reports, run summaries, and benchmarking comparisons.
- Ensure compliance with NOV engineering standards and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Collaboration and relationship management.
- Bachelor's degree in petroleum, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline is highly regarded.
- 8+ years of experience in drilling, drill bits, or oilfield services.
- Experience working with drill bit selection, design, or field applications.
- Background in technical sales, applications engineering, or field engineering.
- Strong understanding of drilling environments (offshore, deepwater, or land) is highly regarded.
