About The Role
As a Chef / Cook at Nosey Neighbour Café, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality food and helping create an exceptional experience for our guests.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard

Maintaining food quality and presentation during busy service periods

Following food safety and hygiene standards

Managing prep and stock rotation
-
Assisting with ordering and inventory control

Operating and maintaining bain-marie service and hot-holding equipment where required

Working collaboratively with the front-of-house team

Contributing ideas and helping us continue to improve
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:

Organised and able to work efficiently under pressure

Passionate about quality food and presentation

Committed to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen

Able to communicate effectively with both BOH and FOH teams

Holds a current driver's licence and has their own reliable vehicle
Experience & Qualifications
Preferred experience includes:
-
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a café, restaurant or hospitality venue

Minimum of 2+ years cooking experience is required for this role
-
Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
-
Experience working in fast-paced service environments
-
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
-
Experience operating bain-marie service and maintaining food quality in a hot-holding environment (highly regarded)
Relevant food safety qualifications are highly regarded.
Food safety qualifications must be obtained within 30 days of commencement if not already held.

Due to the location and early hospitality start times, applicants must have their own reliable vehicle and the ability to travel to and from work independently.
