Safety Manager who will genuinely mentor you , while you become a key part of a young, energetic and growing second-generation commercial construction business delivering some seriously impressive projects across Sydney.

Job Description
What you’ll actually be doing
No two days will look the same...
- Working a
- 40/60 split between site and office
- — mostly on site
- Working alongside site teams, contractors and project managers
- Reviewing, improving and modernising WHS/HSEQ systems and documentation
- Managing internal safety systems and keeping things moving
- Supporting tenders and live commercial projects
- Delivering practical safety advice, training and toolbox talks
- Identifying gaps and actually helping fix them
- Working with the Safety Manager on continuous improvement
- Being the person people come to when they need good, practical safety advice
Who are we looking for?
This is where we’re pretty specific.
You need
3+ years of HSEQ experience in Commercial Building & Construction.
We are
NOT looking for someone coming from
- Residential Building
- Aged Care
- Medical
- Manufacturing
- General Industry environments
You need to understand construction sites, contractors, projects, documentation and the realities of getting work done safely.
You’ll also need
- Cert IV in WHS minimum
- Strong commercial construction experience
- White Card
- Driver’s Licence
- Confidence dealing with everyone from a Site Supervisor to a Director
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
