Northern Glass Group is a commercial window and cladding company experiencing sustained growth with many upcoming projects in their pipeline. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a motivated AP/AR Officer to join our team. Working alongside the GM and a highly experienced CFO, the key to this role is teamwork and communication. This role is 4 days a week, Tuesday to Friday with flexible start times.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Managing day to day AP and AR
- Processing and reconciling invoices
- Raising customer invoices and following up outstanding payments
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Allocating payments and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with job costing and project related invoicing
- Managing purchase orders and matching invoices
- Reconciliations and general ledger administration
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams
Requirements:
- Construction industry experience and solid understanding of retentions
- Experience in accounting software - preference is Xero
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Organised, motivated and resourceful
- Ability to manage competing priorities
