North Projects is a specialist advisor and consultancy to property, construction, and development projects nationally. Our clients include State governments, company boards, financiers, developers, builders, governments, PPP Sponsors and tertiary education providers.

The opportunity

We are looking for a diligent, highly efficient and detailed bid coordinator to join our team in our Adelaide or Sydney offices. We produce bid and proposal documents for our clients in the infrastructure industry and will require end-to-end management, including writing the non-technical responses whilst liaising with the technical team.

This role will ensure our bids, tenders and submissions are submitted on time and to the highest quality. Reporting to the Bid Manager, you will work closely with them to ensure that we are working towards our approved business plan to ensure we are tendering and bidding on the suitable projects.

This standalone role will connect with the bid team across the business but will be working autonomously.

You will:

  • Manage the end-to-end coordination and production of Expressions of Interest (EOIs), tenders, fee proposals and capability statements.
  • Support the development of compelling, client-focused submission content that clearly addresses client requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Write, edit and review non-technical content, making sure submissions are clear, persuasive and aligned with agreed win themes.
  • Coordinate input from different stakeholders, reviews and approvals from project directors, technical specialists and subject matter experts.
  • Ensure submissions are compliant, accurate, professionally presented and delivered within tight deadlines.
  • Create high-quality proposal documents, including covers, graphics, tables, infographics and visual content aligned with North's brand standards.
  • Apply strong document management and version control practices throughout the submission lifecycle.
  • Maintain and continuously improve North's bid library, templates, project experience database and reusable content.
  • Capture lessons learned and contribute to the ongoing improvement of bid processes, tools and submission quality.
  • Leverage approved AI tools and technology to support drafting, content development, quality assurance and process efficiency.

About you:

  • Advanced MS Word skills and proficient in MS Office
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe InDesign.
  • Minimum 2 years in a bid or submissions role.
  • Excellent written skills and ability to produce a high standard of publications.
  • Ideally have worked on Infrastructure, construction or engineering bid and tenders previously
