Our litigation practice is expanding, and this newly created role supports that growth within a friendly, professional team that invests in its people.
About the role
Working closely with our solicitors on motor vehicle insurance recovery and litigation matters in the Magistrates' Court, you'll enjoy a varied, fast-moving role. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting with day to day file management and matter progression.
- Drafting and preparing correspondence and basic court documents.
- Liaising with clients, insurers, the Court, and external parties.
- Diary management to meet deadlines and filing requirements.
- Supporting solicitors with both administrative and substantive litigation tasks.
To be considered, you must have:
- At least 6 months' prior litigation experience (law students with relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient MS Office and typing skills
- A professional, friendly telephone manner and presentation
- The ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
