Nikola Estate — one of Australia’s oldest wineries — is looking for a passionate and personable Cellar Door Superstar to join our team on a Part Time basis.

This is more than just a wine pouring role. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day of our Cellar Door, and make sure every guest receives an exceptional Nikola Estate experience.

You’ll be surrounded by award-winning wines, beautiful vineyard views and a down-to-earth team who know how to have a good laugh while getting the job done.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Hosting engaging, fun and informative wine tastings

• Creating memorable experiences and building genuine connections with our visitors

• Taking ownership of the Cellar Door experience and ensuring high standards are maintained

• Assisting with team rostering, shift allocation and day-to-day organisation

• Driving Cellar Door sales and ensuring the team are confident in promoting our wines

• Processing sales, orders and customer enquiries

• Managing opening and closing procedures

• Ensuring the Cellar Door is presented beautifully and operationally ready each day

• Monitoring stock levels and communicating stock requirements

• Assisting with functions, group tastings, weddings and special events

• Helping resolve guest queries and ensuring any issues are handled professionally

• Supporting the wider hospitality team when required

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for wine and hospitality

• Loves talking to people and creating great guest experiences

• Has excellent customer service and communication skills

• Is confident working in a busy, social environment

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in presentation and standards

• Has RSA and Approved Manager accreditation

• Has previous Cellar Door, hospitality, wine or customer service experience

• Is reliable, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility

• Brings a positive attitude and isn’t afraid to pitch in wherever needed

Wine knowledge is important, but personality, passion and a genuine love of people are essential.

Weekend Availability is Essential

Our Cellar Door is busiest when everyone else is enjoying their weekends, so regular weekend availability is a must for this position.
