Band 7 Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Salisbury
We will consider applicants coming to the end of their clinical/counselling psychology training who are looking to start their career here in Wiltshire.
Sarum CMHT is a multi-disciplinary secondary care team that specialises in delivering high quality interventions to adults of working age living across the south of Wiltshire.
You would be supported to offer psychological assessments of clients based in the community with severe and enduring mental health needs.
These would then lead to a psychological formulation from which we would develop an intervention/care plan.
You will offer psychological therapy under expert supervision.
This ranges from brief interventions to longer, time-limited therapeutic input depending on the need and presenting difficulties of the service user.
Opportunities are available to specialise in specific psychological therapy models.
You will be advising non-psychologically trained staff in the psychological perspectives of mental health, and offering your view on psychological factors influencing other service users.
