Store 2IC – Nextra Garden City Newsagency
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Store 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to help lead our busy Nextra Garden City store.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a high-volume retail environment, serving 3,000–5,000 customers each week.
You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team of 10+ staff and deliver outstanding customer service across all product categories (Lotto, soft toys including Jellycats, cards & wrap, confectionary).
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a Retail 2IC, Supervisor, or Team Leader is essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate a team.
- Proven ability to manage busy retail operations and provide exceptional customer experiences.
- Familiarity with Possolutions newsagency software highly regarded but not essential.
- A passion for driving sales growth through leading by example.
About the role
