New Vehicle Sales Manager- MELBOURNE

Job Responsibilities

• To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department including the preparation of monthly management reports, overseeing expenditure and budget achievement, and mentoring sales consultants.
• Identify and prospect new retail customers from within our primary marketing area
• Understand the customers objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes
• Build rapport, forming long term business relationships
• Lead and undertake all aspects of the sales process, from prospect through to delivery.; and assist less experienced sales consultants
• Promote a subset of company products and services ensuring successful introductions to Car Care and Finance & Insurance
• Attend various business and industry events/meetings as required.

Experience

• Previous automotive sale management experience essential, with demonstrated leadership skills within a retail environment.
• Sound administrative and organisational skill sufficient to oversee administrative aspects of the Department
• Exceptional communication skills
• Sound computer skills and a proven ability to maximise output from available databases
• highly professional approach, together with a proven strong work ethic
• Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate sales personnel to ensure the achievement of targets
