We are seeking a reliable truck driver and yard hand to join a civil shoring equipment company located in Ormeau.
This role is 80% driving and crane operations, with 20% yard maintenance work.
It is important to note that the yard maintenance does involve physical labouring, you've got to be fit and happy to do some work on the ground.
Your day to day might involve loading/unloading trucks using a vehicle loading crane, transporting those loads between sites, assembly/disassembly of equipment on site and helping out back at the yard by cleaning or moving equipment.
Requirements for this position
- Previous experience as a Yard Hand or labourer preferred
- Current HR Driver's Licence with proven experience
- Vehicle Loading Crane Licence (CV, or equivalent)
- White Card
- Ability to safely load and unload equipment and materials
- Reliable transport and strong work ethic
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Clear and open communication regarding availability
