About the Role
NewWay Solutions is seeking reliable and motivated 2nd Class Welders for an immediate start with one of our trusted clients in Braeside, VIC.
You’ll be joining an established industrial manufacturing team, working on the fabrication and assembly of metal products used across industrial and warehousing environments.
Have some welding experience but want to learn more? Our client is happy to provide training and guidance to help you build your skills. If you have a basic understanding of welding, a hands-on attitude and a willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply!
What’s on Offer

$38 per hour + Super

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm

Casual position with ongoing opportunities

Immediate start available

On-the-job training and support to develop your welding skills
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Assisting with welding, fabrication and metal assembly work of cages
-
Learning to work with welding equipment, tools and machinery
-
Following job specifications and instructions
-
Working alongside an experienced team to meet production targets

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
-
Following all workplace health and safety requirements
What We’re Looking For

Some welding experience or a basic understanding of welding

A willingness to learn and develop your skills

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

A reliable, hands-on attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to safety, quality and turning up ready to work
You don't need to know everything to get started! If you've had some exposure to welding and are keen to improve, our client is happy to teach you and help you grow in the role.
