Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple residential construction projects from site start through to handover. You will work closely with trades, suppliers, clients, and the internal Newstart Homes team to ensure each home is delivered safely, on schedule, and to our high quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Manage and supervise residential construction projects across South East Queensland
Coordinate and schedule trades, suppliers, and subcontractors
Ensure projects are completed within agreed timeframes and budgets
Conduct quality assurance inspections throughout all stages of construction
Maintain compliance with National Construction Code requirements, Australian Standards, and WH&S regulations
Build and maintain strong relationships with trades, suppliers, and homeowners
Identify and resolve construction issues proactively
Complete site administration and reporting requirements using construction management software
Assist with sourcing and managing subcontractors as required
About you
Previous experience as a Residential Site Supervisor, preferably within a custom or project home building environment
Strong understanding of residential construction methods, site sequencing, and quality control processes
Ability to effectively manage multiple construction sites simultaneously
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Experience using Onsite Companion or similar construction management software
Current driver's licence
QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (preferred)
