We are looking for a Group Digital Lead to join our Client Partnerships team on a 12-month parental leave contract. In this role, you will be the key digital strategist across our client portfolio, working closely with Client Partners and Group Client Partners to drive digital revenue and deliver smart, data-led strategies across News Corp Australia’s digital network. You will collaborate directly with clients and agency partners to build audience, tech and trading solutions that actually move the needle. Whether answering pitches or proactively pitching new ideas, your focus will be on creating commercially sound, fully integrated campaigns that deliver clear, measurable results. This role would suit someone with genuine interest and knowledge in the digital space.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the digital expert on News Corp Australia’s network, turning platform tech and audience data into clear, compelling client strategies.
  • Spot digital opportunities across client portfolios, keep an eye on sales pipelines and help sales leaders map out revenue strategies.
  • Mentor and coach the Client Partnerships team, building their digital confidence and making sure digital is top-of-mind in every client conversation.
  • Keep tabs on market trends and competitors to build tailored category plans, then present clear post-campaign ROI to senior stakeholders.
  • Bring digital thinking into every stage of the campaign lifecycle, from the initial brief through to post-campaign reviews and product updates.
  • Work closely with Group Client Partners, Programmatic and Performance teams, feeding client and market feedback straight back into our product roadmap.

Who are you?

  • 7-8 years in digital media: You bring solid experience across digital strategy, ad tech, or sales, with a clear track record of driving revenue.
  • Commercially minded & data-driven: You understand audience behavior and digital platforms inside out, turning analytics into high-value client solutions.
  • A natural advisor: You’re comfortable guiding teams, shaping strategy, and making sure digital is seamlessly integrated into every campaign.
  • Proactive & influential: You genuinely care about the digital space, stay ahead of market trends, and proactively bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • A team capability lifter: You enjoy sharing your knowledge to mentor others, raising the digital fluency and confidence of the wider team.
