At Medium Rare Content Agency, we craft premium content for Australia’s most influential brands – and behind every beautiful page or digital story is a finely tuned operation. We’re looking for an exceptional Content Operations Lead to help steer the success of one of our biggest clients: Bunnings.
If you’re a workflow wizard who thrives on bringing order that supports our creatives – and knows how to juggle multiple moving parts without dropping the ball – this is your opportunity to shine in a pivotal role at the heart of our content engine.
As the Content Operations Lead, working across the Bunnings account, you’ll be responsible for ensuring content production flows efficiently and collaboratively from concept through to delivery. You’ll work closely with editors, designers, producers and the client to make sure deadlines are met, feedback loops are streamlined, and team capacity is optimised.
This role suits someone who loves a deadline, understands how content teams tick, and can confidently keep all the plates spinning – while spotting ways to make things run even better.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing end-to-end content operations for the Bunnings account across print and digital, across both baseline deliverables and significant ad hoc projects
- Creating and maintaining project timelines, schedules and trackers
- Working with editors and client stakeholders to manage workflow and prioritise feedback
- Coordinating team capacity to balance ongoing production with ad hoc content demands
- Ensuring smooth delivery across multiple content products, from magazines to digital articles
- Leading weekly WIP meetings and capturing actions, dependencies and delivery risks
- Supporting a culture of operational excellence – anticipating roadblocks and proposing smart solutions
Who are you?
- Experienced in managing complex workflows within a media, publishing or content environment
- Highly organised with top-notch time and stakeholder management skills
- Clear and confident communicator who keeps everyone aligned and accountable
- A team player who brings calm and structure – especially when deadlines are tight
- Adept at juggling priorities and adjusting course as needed
- Someone who takes real pride in building processes that support great creative work
