Respite Care in Yea, VIC (Fortnightly)
We are looking for a female support worker for in-home respite starting 08-May-2025.
- Shift: Every second Thursday, 11:00 AM - 02:00 PM
- Client Availability: Flexible to book on Thu or Fri, between 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Vehicle: Must fit a 4-wheeled walker (4WW)
- Mobility: Lyn walks independently indoors, uses her 4WW outdoors, and needs supervision due to fall risk. No lifting needed, but please offer hand support when getting in/out of the car.
- About Lyn: Lyn has cognitive decline affecting communication. She speaks in broken sentences; please be patient, speak clearly, and allow time for her to respond.
- Support Tasks: In-home respite & social support, accompanied outings (chemist, library), help arrange Valley Meal Prep deliveries. If time allows: tidy kitchen, change bed linens, laundry.
