About the role
We are seeking experienced Plasterers/Gyprockers to join our team on a full-time basis in Sydney, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople to work with a reputable company offering competitive remuneration and the chance to be part of a dynamic building trades business. You will be involved in delivering quality interior lining solutions to a variety of commercial and residential projects, working as part of a professional team committed to high standards of workmanship.
What you'll be doing
- Installing and finishing gyprock and plasterboard to walls and ceilings on residential and commercial projects
- Preparing surfaces and applying plaster finishes to achieve smooth, professional results
- Measuring, cutting and positioning materials accurately according to project specifications
- Filling, sanding and finishing joints and seams to a high standard
- Working safely on site in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and site managers to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the project
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Plasterer or Gyprocker with a strong track record of quality work
- Sound knowledge of plastering and gyprock installation techniques and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Proficiency with hand and power tools relevant to the trade
- A commitment to health and safety standards on site
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality finishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in the plastering/gyprock trade are advantageous
- Current driver's licence is preferred
