An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced automotive professional to join New Town Toyota as our

Fleet Manager.

Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, this is a rare opportunity to lead one of Western Australia's most respected and successful fleet operations.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for leading and developing our Fleet Department while driving continued growth across existing and new business channels.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities and representing New Town Toyota throughout the Western Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Fleet team.
• Drive fleet sales growth and departmental profitability.
• Manage and further develop key fleet accounts across Western Australia.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the mining, resources, corporate and government sectors.
• Conduct client visits, presentations and relationship-building activities.
• Develop strategic plans to support business growth and market expansion.
• Strengthen existing customer partnerships while delivering exceptional service outcomes.
• Work closely with Toyota Australia and key industry stakeholders.
• Report on departmental performance and growth initiatives to the Dealer Principal.

About You

• Proven leadership experience within the automotive industry.
• Strong fleet, commercial or business-to-business sales experience.
• Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
• A track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to business development.
• The ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
