Torque & Thermal are a growing Refrigerated Transport Company, located in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in servicing and repairing our fleet of refrigerated vehicles, including rigid trucks, trailers, dollies and prime movers.
The role is based in our Archerfield, Queensland depot.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ year's experience as a Heavy Commercial Diesel Mechanic
- Must hold relevant Heavy Diesel / Commercial Vehicle trade qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills on heavy vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
- Experience with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles
Key Responsibilities
- Steering and Suspension repairs
- Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
- Preventative maintenance and repairs
- Scheduled truck & trailer servicing
- Offsite and breakdown repairs
- Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic qualifications or Minimum 4th year apprentice
- Previous experience working with refrigerated fleets desirable
