New Tech Logistics is seeking a Casual Pick Packer for the PM Shift to join our dynamic warehouse operations team in Laverton North, VIC. As a Pick Packer, you will be integral to our warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately selected, packed and prepared for dispatch. This role is essential to maintaining our high service standards and meeting our customers' delivery expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Shift times are 1PM - 7PM Monday to Friday
- Accurately picking products from pickfaces according to order specifications and picking lists
- Packing items into appropriate packaging materials whilst ensuring product integrity and safety
- Verifying order accuracy before items are sealed and prepared for shipment
- Organising and labelling packages ready for despatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment throughout your shift
- Operating warehouse equipment and systems as required, including barcode scanners and warehouse management systems
- Working collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Reporting any damaged goods, discrepancies or safety concerns to your supervisor
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to casual shift patterns
- Physical capability to lift, carry and handle items of varying weights throughout your shift
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- A commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace
