What You’ll Do as a Nereids Swimming Instructor:
- Teach private, one-on-one lessons in home and apartment pools
- Work with both children and adults, building trust and confidence in the water
- Create safe, enjoyable learning environments
- Support students to reach real milestones — from first strokes to deep-water safety
This role is mobile and flexible. You’ll travel to families across Sydney, teach in calm pool settings, and represent Nereids’ 5-star reputation for professionalism and care.

As a child safe organisation, we are committed to being a safe environment for children and young people.
Requirements:
- Swim teaching qualification from RTO (mainly via Swim Australia / AustSwim / Royal Life Saving/ Belgravia/ Southern Education) — or willingness to obtain
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) — or willingness to obtain
- CPR + First Aid certification — or willingness to obtain
- National Police Check — or willingness to obtain
- Reliability, professionalism, and calm energy with students
- Ideally available after-school hours and/or weekends (during school term)
- Availability during Dec–Jan summer holidays (our busiest season) is highly valued
- Own transport (car, scooter, or electric bicycle) strongly preferred
