Naturally Tasty Shell Cove is looking for an experienced, reliable and passionate Cook to join our friendly and hardworking team. We are a busy, fast-paced local café with a strong focus on fresh, quality food, great customer service and a positive team environment. We need someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently under pressure and help deliver consistently high-quality meals during our busiest periods. About the Role
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and café-style meals.
- Start shifts from 5:00 am to prepare the kitchen and breakfast service.
- Work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced kitchen.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Manage multiple orders while maintaining speed and accuracy.
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Work closely with our kitchen and front-of-house team.
- Assist with stock control and minimising food waste.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cooking experience in a busy café or similar hospitality environment is essential.
- Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends.
- Must be available for early morning starts from 5:00 am.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence handling busy breakfast and lunch services.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for food and delivering quality meals.
