About the Role
We're looking for a Production Support Officer to join our growing day shift team.
In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly by supplying materials, moving stock and supporting warehouse operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply production lines with materials and components in line with production schedules.
- Load, unload, move and store materials using walkie stackers and automated pallet jacks.
- Transfer finished goods and excess materials between production and warehouse areas.
- Use of an RF scanner for material handling tasks, including but not limited to stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Assist with end-of-day production line preparation and general warehouse duties.
- Report equipment issues, material shortages and safety concerns promptly.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, quality and operational procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock and using RF scanners.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Reliable, self-motivated and safety-focused approach to work.
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
- Able to safely undertake manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying and moving stock/materials as required.
Qualifications
- Walkie stacker and auto pallet jack experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
- High Reach Forklift Licence is not essential but highly regarded.
