National Logistics Pty Ltd is a growing family-owned transport company. Our head office is in Melbourne, with depots in Sydney and Brisbane.
Over the past few years, the company has grown significantly, and we are now looking to expand our account management team. We need someone committed to growing existing relationships while delivering excellent service.
The ideal candidate will also be open to identifying and developing new opportunities in the area.
Some of our customers have been with us since the beginning, and we want them to continue to feel valued. Our new account manager will be working closely with senior management and the operations teams to take the business into a new stage.
This position would also suit someone with an operations background who loves transport but is interested in growing into a new role. As a company, we believe in training and mentoring people and would be happy to do that for the right person.
What you'll do:
Lead regular client meetings to build strong, trusted relationships.
Work with clients to resolve challenges, improve their experience, and unlock new opportunities
Reconnect with inactive or down-trading clients and revitalise opportunities.
Stay connected with your portfolio of clients through regular phone, in person and email communications.
Update management on any at-risk customers.
Tackle invoice queries, claims, quotes and escalations quickly and professionally.
Source new business opportunities through lead generation.
Skills & Experience
Experience in account management, customer service or B2B client-facing roles.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills
High Level of organisation and confidence managing multiple tasks
Comfortable working to targets and following structured processes.
