Dental Assistant / Nurse - experienced or trainee

What we’re looking for
- A genuine interest in dental health and orthodontic treatment
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Good dexterity, attention to detail, and spatial awareness
- Solid communication and computer skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with us
- Local residents preferred (Ivanhoe area)
Experience level
Both options welcome:
- Qualified Assistants: Previous orthodontic experience is ideal but not essential
- Trainees/School Leavers: No prior experience needed — we’ll support you through the Certificate III in Dental Assisting (12–18 month traineeship with on-the-job learning plus study at RMIT)
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Chair-side assisting during treatments
- Patient flow and appointment management
- Instrument sterilisation and infection control
- Surgery preparation and stock management
- Keeping the day running smoothly for patients and team alike
