Senior Associate, Credit Structuring & Execution in Melbourne

Customer-facing role with regular in-person client engagement, sitting alongside Coverage Bankers.

Own end-to-end execution on complex transactions, from credit memo and modelling through to documentation and stakeholder recommendations.

In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the Corporate C&IB CSE team contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.

You’ll Make An Impact Each Day By:

• Partner closely with Client Coverage, Markets and Products, plus internal partners to deliver strong customer satisfaction and drive growth.
• Manage ongoing risk profile monitoring and compliance requirements across assigned client groups, keeping portfolio hygiene to a high standard.
• Support transaction structuring and end-to-end execution, including credit submissions, financial modelling, documentation, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Embed quality, consistency and continuous improvement in CSE, improving turnaround times and managing business risks.
• Provide strong stakeholder management and coach junior team members (Associates/Analysts) to uplift capability and performance.

You’ll Bring To This Role:

• Strong numerical, credit and financial analysis capability, including financial modelling.
• Understanding of debt and financial markets products, with solid credit and execution experience (including documentation).
• Proven ability to work across internal stakeholders and deliver in a regulated, compliance-focused environment.
• Customer-focused, with strong organisational and time management skills and a proven record of delivering high-quality work within required timelines.
• C&IB experience preferred, but strong customer-facing banking experience (including B&PB) and emerging G2 talent with clear potential are welcomed (tertiary qualification in Business/Finance preferred).
