Newly created role, complex and diverse MNE located in North Ryde. Excellent opportunity for TM1 super users.
The client
This highly successful MNE has demonstrated consistent growth and diversification over many years. The group comprises 20 entities, with manufacturing, operations and JVs in multiple countries.
Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will deliver the group's annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles, and own, develop and document the TM1 models on which those cycles depend.
The responsibilities
- Manage the annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles.
- Partner with profit centre owners to interpret monthly results, investigate variances to budget and forecast and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
- Provide decision support and financial analysis to functional leaders.
- Prepare Board‑ready reporting to support the CFO.
- Manage the TM1 models, taking responsibility for cubes, dimensions, rules, feeders, Turbo Integrator processes and security.
- Maintain the integrity of data flows between SAP, TM1 and Power BI.
- Drive the automation of planning and continuous improvement of FP&A accuracy and processes.
- Support other team members in a range of tasks related to audit, taxation, reporting and projects, workingwith the financial control team, site accountants, site managers and external TM1 Consultants.
Person specification
The successful candidate will:
- Ideally be CA or CPA qualified and have recent experience as a Senior FP&A Analyst or FP&A Manager.
- Possess TM1 super users skills and any experience in writing rules and utilising Turbo Integrator will be highly advantageous.
- Have a stable work history and be looking for long term career with an organisation.
