About the role
We're looking for a friendly and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Forest Lake team! This is a maternity cover position, designed with flexibility and opportunity in mind. Initially, this role will cover a 5-month period, with possible extension. After this, the opportunities include:
- continued 1 day per week at Forest Lake
- float nurse across a number of clinics
- part/full-time employment at another clinic pending availability
A day in the life:
- Work closely with GPs to provide the best patient care
- Conducting advanced clinical assessments
- Administrating immunisations
- Treatment room management
- ECGs/Spirometry/ABI
- Assisting in procedures
- Wound care and chronic disease management
- Other related duties as required
What we're looking for:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Mandarin speaking (essential)
- General practice experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow
- Best Practice software experience (desirable)
