The role combines operational support, platform engineering, automation and continuous improvement of end-user computing services. It also provides mentoring and guidance to the EUC Deskside Support team while contributing to standards, processes and best practices across the environment.

About the EUC Team

The End User Compute (EUC) team sits within Technology & Architecture and is responsible for the platforms and technologies supporting approximately 15,000 devices globally across Windows devices, macOS devices, Android mobile and rugged devices and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). The team manages the end-to-end lifecycle of workplace technology, delivering secure, stable, scalable and modern computing services that support retail stores, warehouses, support offices and remote employees globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Endpoint management, Microsoft 365 services, identity and access management, software deployment, device compliance, modern workplace technologies and VDI platforms.
  • Configure and manage Windows devices via Intune/MEM (compliance, configuration, Autopilot, security baselines, app deployment).

  • Manage the application lifecycle—testing, versioning, and documentation.
  • Manage update rings, feature updates, and security patching through Intune or BigFix.
  • Ensure high compliance and minimal business interruption.
  • Support VDI environments including image maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
  • Exposure to Azure Virtual Desktop is an advantage.
