We are seeking a Bike Mechanic to deliver outstanding service and high-quality repairs to our local cycling community. While technical experience is fantastic, attitude and soft skills come first for us. We believe top-tier customer service is non-negotiable. If you possess the right mindset, we are fully willing to teach and train the technical mechanics to get you up to speed.
Key responsibilities:
- Warmly greet customers, assess bike issues, and explain repair options clearly
- Liaise directly with customers and suppliers regarding parts and service status
- Assist with retail sales of bicycles, parts, and accessories
- Provide reliable maintenance, adjustments, and repair services across a variety of bikes
- Help keep the workshop clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Assist with opening and closing the store safely when needed
- Stay up-to-date with emerging bicycle technology, e-bike trends, and new product releases
- Assist with basic inventory tracking and stock management
About you:
- Hands-on experience in bicycle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs (ideal)
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills (essential)
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn on the job
- Transferable mechanical or retail skills will also be strongly considered
