At MVMT Rehab, we believe recovery should happen in real life β in homes, parks, gyms, and communities, not just inside clinic walls. We're a people-first mobile Exercise Physiology team working across Sydney, QLD, and the ACT, primarily supporting clients under compensable schemes (Workers' Compensation and CTP). We're grounded in purpose, compassion, and high standards. Our mission is to deliver high-value, community-based rehab while building a workplace our team genuinely loves being part of.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Exercise Physiologist and leader who's ready to step into this role without stepping away from the clinical work they love. This isn't a desk-bound management role. You'll carry your own caseload (approximately 15 hours of clinical work per week), which means you stay close to the work, close to the clients, and close to what makes MVMT Rehab tick. Your leadership happens in the field as much as in a meeting room.
- Full time position
- Clinical caseload: ~15 hours per week
- Location- North Strathfield
- Travel: Occasional travel required to shadow staff and attend team and client meetings.
- Work from home: Available in line with our FlexWork Policy
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Sydney Regional team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement operational plans to drive performance and achieve key business targets.
- Develop and expand a network of referrers in NSW to drive business growth.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly reports to the General Manager, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the NSW team, including resource allocation, workflow management, and performance monitoring.
- Attend monthly meetings with the NSW Clinical Supervisors and General Manager, to provide updates and collaborate on cross-regional initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the regional team.
- Assist with recruitment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and external organisations.
- Lead and support the professional development of team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Develop and deliver presentations to existing referring Return-to-Work (RTW) providers to strengthen partnerships and enhance collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage a clinical caseload in line with the role's designated capacity, providing high-quality service and support to clients.
- Participate in monthly national team meetings to share insights, best practices, and company updates.
- Assist with national managerial tasks as required to support cross-regional coordination and collaboration.
- Travelling occasionally to shadow and meet clinicians in the field and attend team meetings across our service areas and regions (NSW, ACT and South East QLD).
Why MVMT Rehab
- Stay clinical, lead clinically β You keep your own caseload.
- This role doesn't pull you out of the work you trained for; it adds a layer of purpose to it.
- Shape how a team grows β You'll have real influence over clinical standards, CPD, and the culture of a team that genuinely wants to be led well.
- Flexibility that's real β Hybrid and WFH options built into the role, not grudgingly offered.
- Backed by a people-first organisation β We focus on outcomes, communication, and collaboration β not just numbers.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor of Exercise Physiology (or related field) and current ESSA registration as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- 4+ years of clinical experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role
- Minimum 2 years experience working with Workers Compensation or CTP with strong knowledge of compensable schemes and legislation
- Deep knowledge of exercise physiology principles and their application across complex presentations β MSK, mental health, chronic disease
- Experience in performance management and people and culture projects or initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication β you can deliver a difficult conversation as well as a thorough case note
- Strong relationship skills β with clients, referrers, healthcare professionals, and your own team
- A genuine commitment to integrity, professional ethics, and leading by example
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Based from our Sydney office a minimum of two days per week, with ability to travel periodically across MVMT's service regions (ACT, NSW and South East QLD).
This Role is for You Ifβ¦
- You want to lead without leaving clinical work behind
- You find satisfaction in watching someone else improve because of your guidance
- You hold yourself to a high standard β and you bring the team with you, not just the expectation
- You're organised, clear-headed, and calm when complexity arises
- You believe great clinical culture is built deliberately, not by accident
Job applications close Friday 13th November 2026.
