We are a proud family-owned business founded in 1986 that has grown significantly from humble beginnings. We are currently seeking a UX Manager to join our team based in our new state of the art location in Yennora for a 12 month contract as a parental leave cover.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, service experiences and digital products to break the barriers between physical, digital and service to design meaningful experiences for our customers.

About the Role

  • Lead an established vision for a web-based B2B customer portal, helping to define and build core products within this framework.
  • Work across the organisation to connect customer needs, business strategy, services, technology and data to inform and design digital experiences.
  • Lead and manage projects whilst keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring documentation is covered.
  • Work closely with developers, data engineers and other technical professionals to translate customer and business needs into viable experiences.
  • Help shape experiences within the context of a technology architecture and security system, balancing usability, privacy, security, technical constraints, and customer expectations.
  • Bring a service-design lens to understand the end-to-end customer experience, including the people, processes, systems, data, and technology behind it.
  • Translate customer insights, business goals, and organisational constraints into clear design opportunities and project requirements.
  • Get hands-on with UX design from information architecture and interaction design, through to wireframes, prototypes, specs and acceptance testing.
  • Maintain interface design guidelines, enforcing compliance to an existing system.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions that bring diverse stakeholders together around a shared understanding of the problem.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstratable experience in a similar digital product design leadership role.
  • Passion for managing complexity between customer needs and business requirements to achieve a value added customer experience.
  • Ability to understand and work within a technical constraint whilst maintaining a positive customer experience.
  • Previous experience in project work within a complex digital ecosystem and data architecture.
  • Strong UX craft and understanding of what makes digital experiences useful, intuitive and value added including familiarity with Figma, Dovetail, and Dev Ops.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to influence decision making.
  • Genuine hands on approach to work in order to reach company goals.
  • The patience to spend time building deep understanding and empathy for B2B customers in healthcare.
  • The ability to transform complex research and fragmented information into clear insights, actionable opportunities and strategic direction.
