- Senior Project Engineer - Civil or Electrical Solar Works

Our client is an engineering and construction business working across transport, defence and major infrastructure.
It combines project delivery expertise with a focus on collaboration, technical improvement and sustainable outcomes.
The Opportunity
Lead civil or electrical construction engineering packages on a major solar development in Western Australia's Pilbara region.
Reporting to area leadership, you will coordinate engineering interfaces, construction performance and junior engineers.
- Your Responsibilities
- Manage earthworks, piling and access roads or HV/MV reticulation, substations and solar array scopes.
- Track budgets, schedules, costs and delivery risks.
- Resolve technical and constructability issues.
- Prepare work scopes, estimates, methods and project documentation.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary interfaces.
- Support procurement, subcontract administration and quality compliance.
- Mentor engineers and site teams.
Requirements
Skills, Education and Requirements
- An Engineering bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical, or equivalent, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
- Five to eight or more years in civil construction, electrical infrastructure, renewables or major projects.
- A track record managing complex civil or electrical packages.
- Strong construction methods, contracts and project controls knowledge.
- Leadership, commercial judgement and project-system proficiency; Primavera P6 is desirable.
- Current Australian work rights.
