Mulford is a well-established Australian business supplying plastic sheet, roofing and building products across a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join our team in Horsley Park.
Working from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, this is a hands-on role involving:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Forklift operations
- Receiving and dispatching stock
- Supporting day-to-day warehouse activities
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail and can work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and move stock throughout the warehouse.
- Receive incoming goods and check deliveries for accuracy and damage.
- Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stocktakes and inventory control.
- Handle and store plastic sheet, roofing and building products safely to prevent damage.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Follow company safety procedures and safe manual handling practices.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other operational areas as required to maintain efficiency and customer service.
About You
You are a practical, hands-on person who takes pride in completing work accurately and efficiently and enjoys working in a team environment. To be successful, you will have:
- Current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Previous experience in warehousing, stores or logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
- The physical ability to undertake general warehouse and manual handling duties.
- Flexibility to assist across various warehouse operations.
Highly Regarded but Not Essential
- Experience handling plastic sheet, roofing or building products.
- Experience working with warehouse inventory management systems.
- Experience in picking, packing, dispatch and stock control.
- Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
