Mtec Mechanical Services are currently seeking qualified Mechanical Tradespeople to join our experienced, motivated & dynamic onsite & offsite rebuild teams.
Onsite re-build team roles based at our clients' onsite workshops.
Field service vehicle or fuel allowance - dependant on site.
Lifestyle roster.
Rutherford re-build team roles based at Mtec's brand new custom-built mining equipment overhaul workshop facility.
9-day fortnight rotating roster. Mon to Fri dayshift then Mon to Thurs nightshift.

On Site Positions
Permanent full-time onsite rebuild team roles.
Mining equipment overhauls at our customers onsite locations, site workshop based. Electric & mechanical drive haul trucks, & ancillary asset rebuilds & PCR projects.
Team culture driven environment, our team makes work more enjoyable.
5 weeks annual leave p/for rotating rosters.
Paid ongoing training provided for all employees.
Lifestyle roster with overtime available.
Service vehicle or fuel allowance provided depending on location.
Pay rates from $59- $66 base rate per hour, with additional attractive nightshift, weekend & overtime rates
Off Site Positions
Plant mechanic positions supporting mining equipment overhauls in a new custom built workshop, Caterpillar & Komatsu haul truck overhauls, & ancillary asset rebuilds & component overhauls.
Weekday based roster -no rostered weekends, offsite workshop location
Competitive pay rates, attractive penalty rates for nightshift & overtime

Trade upgrades available to suitable applicants with a relevant mechanical trade -proven previous plant & heavy vehicle maintenance experience is essential

About You
Mechanical & Electric Drive Haul truck overhaul experience highly regarded
Previous ancillary mining equipment overhaul experience desirable
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, & a high level of quality workmanship
Ability to adhere to safe work practices, policies and procedures
Australian recognised Mechanical Trade certificate (Mobile Plant desirable)
NSW Certificate of Proficiency
Must be eligible to work in Australia with no restrictions
Proven reliability with punctuality and attendance
Ability to pass or have a current Order 45 Coal Board Medical
Sound communication and interpersonal skills
MDG25, WSAH, Glencore Generic Inductions highly regarded
HRWL Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging, C6, Confined Space licenses advantageous.
