About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Laminator Operator to join a food manufacturing team based in Altona, VIC. You will operate laminating equipment and support the preparation and production of food products while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Mix and prepare ingredients according to production requirements
- Operate and monitor laminating machinery
- Follow recipes, production instructions and specifications
- Execute strict allergen control procedures
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process
- Ensure accurate weighing and measurement of ingredients
- Complete production records and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organised production area
- Follow GMP, food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
- Report any equipment, quality or production issues to the supervisor
About You
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production
- Experience operating machinery, preferably laminating or similar equipment
- Understanding of food safety and allergen control
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a production environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Strong commitment to quality and workplace safety
