About the Client
Our client is an established business within the specialised health products manufacturing sector, supporting the production and packaging of products across various formats. Our client is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operators Trainee to join their team located in Ormeau, QLD. They have multiple opportunities available across different production areas, including sachet packaging and encapsulation.
Location: Ormeau, QLD
Shifts: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay rate: $33.85 - $35.96/hr + Super
Employment Type: Casual, with potential for permanent opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with various machines/equipment across different production areas.
- Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot machines to ensure efficient production.
- Perform machine setup, calibration, and changeovers for different product runs.
- Monitor and control parameters.
- Ensure smooth operation by minimizing downtime and reporting maintenance issues.
- Perform sachet packaging, encapsulation and other production-related tasks as required.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete quality checks and maintain accurate production records.
- Ensure products are packed accurately and meet required quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant production area.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily targets.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous GMP experience in pharmaceutical, food or similar manufacturing environments.
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
- A reliable work ethic and consistent attendance.
- Full working rights.
- Availability to travel with own vehicle and driver's license.
