Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of quality doors and building products, currently seeking reliable and physically fit Machine Operators to join their busy warehouse and manufacturing team in Brisbane.
About the Role:
- Support day-to-day machine operation warehouse operations along with general warehouse and production duties.
- Operate an automated machine used for door hinging.
- Perform a balanced mix of machine operation and general warehouse duties as required.
- Load, unload and move stock safely.
- Undertake regular manual handling.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
About You:
- Basic machine operating, production or warehouse experience.
- Experience in timber processing, door manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment (desirable, but not essential).
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
- Able to safely handle products weighing up to approximately 40kg with assistance.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must have full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Training & Support:
- Full training provided, with an estimated training period of 1–3 months depending on your learning progress.
- Initial training will focus on basic manual tasks before progressing to machine operation.
- Work involves timber materials.
- You'll need to go on a site tour/meet & greet (on-site) before commencing.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol testing prior to commencement.
