MPES Group Aust Pty Ltd is a respected electrical subcontractor delivering commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects across NSW. Based in Smithfield, we're a structured, fast‐moving business supporting multiple live construction projects — a great environment to learn how a real business runs.
About the Role
As we grow, we want the right people growing with us — for the long haul. You'll get real variety from day one: building spreadsheets for live projects, communicating with site teams, supporting apprentices, and keeping the business running day-to-day. As you prove yourself, so do the opportunities — this is a business that promotes from within. A car and license are essential, as the role includes some local errands.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain spreadsheets used across live projects
- Communicate directly with site teams — from foreman notices to staff memos
- Support apprentices through onboarding, and liaise with TAFE and the NSW Apprenticeship Training Board
- Keep the office running smoothly — supplies, kitchen, catering, and day-to-day errands (mail, banking)
- General administrative support and data entry
Skills & Experience
- Studying Business, Administration or similar (desirable)
- Strong Microsoft office and Excel skills
- High attention to detail and organisation
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle essential
- MYOB or similar accounting software experience advantageous but not essential
