- Complete month-end accounting activities and maintain clear supporting documentation.
- Review account balances, investigate variances and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare reconciliations to support accurate financial records and reporting outputs.
- Develop financial reports that give stakeholders clear and useful information.
- Apply sound accounting judgement when reviewing transactions and financial data.
- Work with relevant teams to gather information needed for financial reporting activities.
- Identify practical ways to improve the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes.
Profile
A successful 'Senior Financial Accountant' should have:
- Strong financial accounting experience, including preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
- Experience completing month-end activities and reviewing account balances.
