As demand for our products continues to grow, we are looking for motivated Assemblers, Shed Builders and Carpenters to become part of our Production Team based in Mackay.
Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will contribute to the construction of transportable buildings while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Experience in transportable building manufacturing is highly regarded, however candidates with relevant construction or trade backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Immediate starts are available, with casual roles offering a pathway to permanent employment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assemble and install flooring, doors, windows, fixtures and fittings to required quality standards.
- Install and finish insulated wall and roof panel systems, including trims, flashings and associated components.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Handle, stage and prepare materials and completed buildings for dispatch and transport.
- Upskilling to enable a pathway to a variety of work
What We're Looking For
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently and productively
- Must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Must have high attention to detail, a positive work ethic, and a strong commitment to workplace safety
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
- Must be an Australian citizenship or unrestricted legal right to work in Australia.
