MP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join a well-established manufacturing operation in the Albury-Wodonga region. This is a hands-on laboratory position working closely with production to ensure products and processes meet required quality standards. We are looking for someone who already has laboratory experience within a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working as part of a rotating shift roster.
About the role
- Conducting routine laboratory testing and analysis
- Sampling and testing materials and finished products
- Recording and maintaining accurate test results
- Monitoring quality standards and identifying non-conformances
- Completing laboratory documentation and data entry
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and a clean, organised work area
- Working closely with production and quality teams
- Following established quality, safety and hygiene procedures
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous laboratory experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with quality testing, sampling and laboratory procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence completing documentation and recording results
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work rotating day and afternoon shifts
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality
A qualification in Laboratory Techniques, Laboratory Technology, Food Science, Chemistry or a related discipline would be highly regarded.
